UP THE STRAIGHT may be trying to punch above his weight in this one.

He claimed a second at Fontwell just 23 days ago. But this is such a big step up in the level of competition that he faces, it’s going to be a big ask.

There are few novice chasers around that are better than him and because we expect this to be a tight battle between him and Hitman, it may come down to small margins in jumping ability.

In that regard, we think that it is Shan Blue who just takes it and the drop in trip may well suit him perfectly for this test.

With all that said, we expect HITMAN to be right in the frame as well after his excellent runner up in the Henry VIII.
